So we're off to new adventures! In case you haven't heard, we are moving our family of five to Penang, Malaysia just after the 4th of July. When first presented, I thought Adam was joking, but when I realized he was serious, I got out my globe and found out exactly where Malaysia is located. =) This wonderful opportunity, though shocking at first, has been growing on us for some time now. We decided to take the plunge while our kids are young and are excited to truly experience another culture and expand our horizons via travel! I am doing this having: never seen (except in pictures) where I'm actually going, never crossed an ocean before, never taken my kids on an airplane, and never been successful at using chopsticks!! Am I crazy? Maybe. (We can debate that separately.) Am I excited? Definitely!
I've created this blog to keep you posted on all our adventures and experiences, the good and the bad. Our lives will be touched by amazing and breathtaking sights, memorable experiences, and teachable moments with our kids, as well as by complaining and discomfort, mosquito bites, and other moments where we will want to shrink under the tile from embarrassment.
